Singer, born in Nichinan-city, Miyazaki-pref.

Started learning Japanese folk songs as a part of asthma treatment in her childhood.

Sang to the mountains everyday with harmony of songs and the nature in her mind.

Won first prize two years in a row in Fuji TV's "Kinkan Folk Songs Master Championship" and "Columbia Folk Songs and Dances National Championship".

She also established her own singing style by approaching other musics (jazz, rock, R&B, foreign songs etc).

Her song is now familiar worldwide including a French famous movie.
